ABOUT THE ALBUM
Alana Davis's Elektra debut is a remarkable collection that introduces a talent wise beyond her years. Drawing on influences as diverse as Stevie Wonder, Joni Mitchell and Charlie Parker, Alana's songs are smart, hip and soulful and highlight her earthy sensuous voice. Blame It on Me was produced by Ed Tuton, who worked with Maxwell on his breakthrough debut. 1st single: "32 Flavors." on the heels of several dates on the Lilith Fair tour, Alana will now tour on her own.
