Look Out for #1

George "Lightnin' Licks" Johnson and Louis "Thunder Thumbs" Johnson were 2 of the more spectacular urban/pop artists on the scene from 1976-80, with albums and singles that yielded platinum and double-platinum within months of release. With Quincy Jones at the helm, multi-Grammy-winner Bruce Swedien at the controls and a horde of superb session musicians, Look Out for #1 sold over a million copies, driven by 2 hit singles ("I'll Be Good to You" and "Get the Funk Out Ma Face").
