Power

Alexander Ridha a.k.a. Boys Noize gets the rave juices flowing with the follow-up to his '07 Oi Oi Oi. Power is a further reminder of his youthful neon-exuberance, collecting together twelve tracks of dance-positive techno with a snarling rock attitude. “Kontakt” shapes monstrous metallic riffs over lamming house beats, the vicious “Starter” slashes relentless edits out of a chunky dance-rockers rhythm, “Trooper” jams out tribal war drumming patterns and “Drummer” fiddles with funky snare syncopations to keep you pinned to the floor.
