ABOUT THE ALBUM
A Pleasant Shade of Grey marks a new chapter in the Fates Warning story. Not only is the album one track (clocking in at over 55 minutes), but a couple of new musicians (Ex-Armored Saint bassist Joey Vera and keyboardist Kevin Moore from Dream Theater) were enlisted to help out. The album possesses a huge, atmospheric sound comparable to the likes of Yes or Pink Floyd, thanks to the production of Terry Brown, who is famous for his work with Rush. Servicing to key metal and AOR radio.
