ABOUT THE ALBUM
The first ever UK CD release of this smooth early soul man's great Cadence recordings - and the first ever CD, anywhere in the world, to feature everything that Lenny cut for Cadence between 1959 and 1964. Fans of the 'Big City Soul' styling's of Walter Jackson and Roy Hamilton appreciate the work of Mr Welch, as do all lovers of classic American Pop of the early 1960's. Produced by Archie Bleyer, the man behind the original success of the Everly Brothers, Andy Williams, Johnny Tillotson and more. Arrangers include some of the top names of the period - Bert Keyes, Chuck Sagle etc.
