Glory of the Berliner Philharmoniker the

Together with the Vienna Philharmonic, the Berlin Philharmonic (Berliner Philharmoniker) is one of the undisputed TOP orchestras in the world. It enjoyed legendary success under Herbert von Karajan (DG / Karajan / BPO were one of the first important "brands" in classical music). "The Glory of the Berliner Philharmoniker" includes all the repertoire being performed by the orchestra on tour - it also provides a 45-year long conspectus of the orchestra in a variety of repertoire from the 18th century (Haydn) to the 20th (Berg). Uniquely each piece is conducted by a different star conductor associated with the orchestra, including two principals - Karajan and Abbado.
