Paper Heart EP

The Paper Heart EP is the long awaited third release of the Loblolly Boy, nom de plume of songwriter Luke Kalloch. Following a national tour in support of the album the Selfish Years, the Loblolly Boy return, with the help of fellow Austin musicians, to create a dynamic soundscape that ranges from soft a capella vocals to a cacophony of electric guitars accompanied by bombastic percussion. But what really shines in the songs of the Loblolly Boy are the narratives, filled with vibrant characters and their compelling struggles with heartbreak, misfortune, bad luck, and most of all, hope.
