ABOUT THE ALBUM
Banana Wind (a term used to describe a storm strong enough to knock bananas from the trees) is an appropriate title for Buffett's latest record - it is the attitude that will drive MCA's marketing effort for the project. With a concert tour scheduled to begin in early summer (providing the ultimate sales opportunity, with consumer excitement for the album at it's peak) and advertising targeting his diverse audience (from college students to die-hard Parrotheads), this release will benefit from an intense and focused campaign.
