Shygirl calls SWALLOW! a reintroduction. Her 2022 debut, Nymph, took her from the electronic underground to the foreground of contemporary pop. She’s collaborated with Sega Bodega and Mura Masa, Charli xcx, Arca, SOPHIE, fka twigs, and Bjork. Swallow! is a new kind of rapturous indie songwriting, woven through the electronica she came from, recorded with Karma Kid and Casey MQ. “I want people to remember how big the world is even when you feel so small and singular” she says.
