Released as the Outlaw country movement hit its zenith and Willie Nelson and Waylon Jennings had exploded as country stars, Wanted! The Outlaws featured a collection of songs by Waylon Jennings, Willie Nelson, Jessi Colter and Tompall Glazer. The album hit #1 on the country charts, top 10 on the pop charts and was the first country album to be certified Platinum. The album features the duet hits “Good Hearted Woman” (Waylon & Willie) and “Suspicious Minds” (Waylon & Jessi) along with solo tracks from Willie (“Yesterday’s Wine” and “Me and Paul”), Waylon (“My Heroes Have Always Been Cowboys”), Jessi (“I’m Looking For Blue Eyes” and Tompall (“T For Texas”).
