Seafret set out with the aim to push themselves further on 'Fear Of Emotion'; to challenge themselves on every natural instinct for melody and production. The album is inspired by their lived, human experience; some beautiful and shiny, some dark and painful. Produced by Steve Robson, the record coalesces everything that Seafret do so well; between emotive acoustic songwriting, infectious indie pop production and sing along anthems that tug at the heartstrings. "Making music for us has always been a way of letting emotion out so whenever we are writing we know that what sticks will be something honest and true to ourselves... Sometimes you love someone so much it scares you and makes you want to cling on for dear life. Sometimes you are so scared to feel any emotion at all."
