This album richly covers three familiar Billie Holiday songs but also branches into blues versions of Fifty Ways by Paul Simon and Four and Twenty from Stephen Stills. Strong deep female vocal solos, with a very sweet harmony added on Crazy Love by husband Doug Smith, who's super smooth fingerstyle guitar playing massages 50 Ways and Croce's Time in a Bottle into a perfect groove. Terry Robb's blues guitar licks on Ain't Nobody's Business and Silly Silly Fool are among his finest on any CD, and provide extreme listening pleasure for any blues guitar fan. The harpsichord-like hammered dulcimer on the Croce tune played by Terry Prohaska will also blow you away as the final cut of this delightful collection.
