(2-CD set) 'Legend' is one label we might apply to Joe Stanley. Others might include mentor and trailblazer. Joe was an integral part of the dynamic Washington D. C. music scene for more than five decades. Joe's swooping, growling tone could hold it's own with any of them right up to his passing on January 7, 2007. He lead his own bands for over thirty years and played with great like Sam Cooke, Big Joe Turner, Jackie Wilson and too many to list here.
