Mastered by legendary producer John Porter. DERWIN 'BIG D' PERKINS -NOLA born and raised guitarist. Big D's career began in church. It wasn't long after, that his uncompromising guitar style was noticed as one of NOLAS top acts. He is an integral part of the New Orleans music scene. Recording and sharing the stage with artist such as the late Raymond Myles, Jon Cleary, Bonnie Raitt, Davell Crawford, N'Dea Davenport, The Neville Brothers, Dia-mon, Anthony Bailey, Lil Romeo, and Marva Wright just to name a few. Along with playing he has also become a sought out Songwriter and Producer . Jimmy "BOO" Hill, Jr. -Playing drums has been second-nature to Jimmy since he was 5 years old. He started his journey playing in a church band and by age 15 touring the eastern seaboard. In the past few years he has shared the stage with Angela Winbush, Kelly Price, Freeway, Lil Mo and Brutha (Def Jam). In 2010 he began touring with American Idol finalist, Fantasias' MVP band. In 2011 he was also apart of the Essence Festival and the New Orleans Jazz & Heritage Festival. Jimmy brings a funky intensity to the Boukou Groove trio. -DONNIE SUNDAL -His voice and sound is soulful, funky, and always rock solid. Donnie's ability to weave seamlessly among genres, allowing him to perform with many of today's well known artists, Junior Marvin (Bob Marley and the Wailers), Sam Bush, Col. Bruce Hampton & Jojo Herman. In 2010 earned an endorsement from Moog Music. After attending Berklee College of Music and touring Canada, Donnie settled in Atlanta where his band opened for reggae acts such as Jimmy Cliff, Third World, and Burning Spear. In Destin, FL Donnie opened, Neptone Recording Studio, a professional quality full service music recording and production facility.
