This is June Tabor's first new work since 2003's award winning "An Echo Of Hooves" (TOP #543). In the past two years, June's profile has never been higher, winning two BBC Folk Awards, appearing on television several times, including a full length concert performance, and the release of her critically acclaimed retrospective boxed set "Always" (TOP #4003). Her new CD again features Martin Simpson on guitar and predominantly contains traditional songs, starting with magisterial performances of "The Banks of the Sweet Primroses" and "The Broomfield Wager." Other key tracks are Anna McGarrigle's "Heart Like a Wheel" and her in concert showstopper, Duke Ellington's "Do Nothing 'til You Hear From Me."
