LES PAUL & MARY FORD's impact and influence was immeasurable, not merely as singers and musicians but for their recording, mixing and studio practices, notably overdubbing, tape delay, phasing and multi-tracking. Les was a full-on genius/visionary, totally re-imagining the design and acoustics of the electric guitar. Mary was an awesome singer, possessed of a mellifluous, extraordinarily versatile voice, which Les was able to multi-track to perfection.
