ABOUT THE ALBUM
Limited 180gm vinyl LP pressing. Monyaka is a six-piece, Jamaica-born reggae act, based in Brooklyn, NY and originally founded in 1974. In 1982, they released the album Reggaenomics on the Easy Street record label. The album includes the UK hit 'Go Deh Yaka' and reached #14 in the UK charts. It cleverly fused reggae and contemporary R&B. The album also features the first single 'Stand Up Strong'.
